Aims
The Urban Politics Specialist Group of the PSAI aims to promote interest in teaching and research in urban politics and policy. The Group seeks to encourage communication among PSAI members interested in urban politics within the Association and within related disciplines, to develop links between academics and practitioners and to provide a bridge between Urban Politics researchers in Ireland and similar groups internationally.

Activities
The Urban Politics Specialist Group will be an active source of scholarship and collaboration between scholars from different disciples and practitioners in this growing and evolving field. The Group will be used to disseminate knowledge to a wider audience as well to share expertise among a wide range of interested individuals and groups.

Members
The Urban Politics Specialist Group welcomes members from across disciplinary areas and specialist areas, including politics, law, economics, geography, sociology and history. To become a member of the Group you must be a member of the PSAI, which you can join here. You do not have to belong to an Irish university to be a PSAI member or to join the Group.
